Advance Care Planning Training Series: ACP and Perinatal Health

Ethics and Issues in Advance Care Planning: ACP and Perinatal Health
HCV envisions a world where all Virginians have access to quality advance care planning that is honored in the delivery of care. Misconceptions abound about the role of ACP, including a common conflation of ACP with end-of-life planning. What does ACP mean in the context of dementia, mental illness, or birth? What can we learn about person-centered care from those who have long been in the fight for it?
